No less than 12 folks have been detained after clashes broke out between two teams over vandalisation of a statue in Maharashtra’s Jalgaon on Saturday, reported ANI citing police. The clashes occurred within the Atarwal village of Jalgaon district after a statue was vandalised by unidentified folks, the company reported Jalgaon SP M Rajkumar as saying.
“Police reached the spot and introduced the scenario underneath management. 12 folks had been detained. Additional motion is being taken,” Jalgaon SP mentioned, as quoted ANI.

Earlier on March 30, as per the company, police mentioned that 56 folks had been arrested in reference to a conflict that broke out between two teams in Maharashtra’s Jalgaon district over music being performed outdoors a Mosque whereas Namaz.
Jalgaon SP mentioned that two FIRs have been registered and at the moment, the scenario is peaceable and is underneath management within the space.
In accordance with Police, there was rivalry between two teams over music being performed outdoors a mosque that escalated into stone pelting which led to the conflict.
The event comes amidst a number of instances of violence from Maharashtra, West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand on Ram Navami.

On Saturday night, a bomb blast was reported from Sasaram in Bihar’s Rohtas district. 5 folks had been injured within the blast and have been referred to the Banaras Hindu College Hospital. The reason for the blast remains to be not identified and the cops are probing all potential angles.
“There was a bomb blast in Sasaram. Injured folks had been referred to BHU hospital. We’re investigating all of the angles proper now. The reason for the blast is unknown,” mentioned Sasaram DM Dharmendra Kumar, as reported by information company ANI.
