New Delhi: Three individuals had been killed and 10 injured as two buses collided on Noida-Better Noida Expressway on Sunday, information company PTI reported.
The accident befell close to Sector 157 below Data Park police station space, officers mentioned.
In keeping with the report, one of many buses was stationary and the opposite rammed into it from behind.

“A bus was coming from Shivpuri in Madhya Pradesh and the opposite from Pratapgarh in Uttar Pradesh. After the collision at round 5 am, police groups had been rushed to the spot. Three folks died as a result of accidents, whereas 10 had been hospitalised for therapy,” PTI quoted Deputy Commissioner of Police (Better Noida) Abhishek Verma as saying.
The deceased have been recognized as Kartik Trivedi (18), a local of Pratapgarh, Kamil (25) from Delhi and Sheru (29) from Bhind in Madhya Pradesh, the police mentioned.
In keeping with Data Park police station in-charge Vinod Kumar Singh, the passengers of the bus coming from Pratapgarh alleged that its driver was in an inebriated state.
The matter is being investigated, Singh mentioned.
The injured have been rushed to the hospital. The police reached the accident website and engaged within the rescue operation.
An FIR has been lodged in opposition to the unidentified bus driver, who managed to flee, below Part 304A (dying as a result of negligence) of the Indian Penal Code and searches are being carried out to arrest him, Singh added.
