New Delhi: The Congress is about to organise a day-long ‘Satyagraha’ on Sunday in protest in opposition to disqualification of Rahul Gandhi from Lok Sabha in entrance of Gandhi statues in any respect states and district headquarters, information company PTI reported.

The nationwide motion will start at 10am and finish at 5pm.

“We’re planning a nationwide motion tomorrow. We’ll maintain a ‘Sankalp Satyagraha’ from 10 am throughout India. The Sankalp Satyagraha can be held in all state headquarters,” Congress’s KC Venugopal mentioned.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and celebration common secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will stage the ‘Sankalp Satyagraha’ at Raj Ghat within the nationwide capital.

The Congress mentioned that Rahul Gandhi’s conviction within the defamation case and his disqualification from Lok Sabha, which it alleged was executed in response to his constantly questioning the connection between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and businessman Gautam Adani, poses a critical menace to India’s democracy.
