New Delhi: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday requested Congress to resolve the matter of president of the Assam unit of Indian Youth Congress (IYC) Angkita Dutta, or regulation will take its personal course, information company ANI reported. Dutta, on Thursday, lodged a police grievance in opposition to IYC nationwide president Srinivas BV, accusing him of harassment.

Angkita Dutta recorded her assertion within the case earlier than the Chief Judicial Justice of the Peace court docket in Guwahati on Friday.

Notably, in her grievance, Angkita Dutta accused IYC Nationwide President Srinivas BV of persistently harassing her for the previous six months. She mentioned Srinivas made sexist feedback and threatened of dire penalties if she complained in opposition to him.
