Jahangirpuri Violence: Amit Shah Directs Delhi Police To Take Strict Action Against Culprits

New Delhi: Union Dwelling Minister Amit Shah on Monday directed the Delhi Police to take strict motion towards these concerned within the Jahangirpuri violence on Hanuman Jayanti, PTI reported.

Amit Shah dialled Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana and requested the police to take motion and set a precedent.

Clashes broke out throughout a Hanuman Jayanti procession within the nationwide capital’s Jahangirpuri space on Saturday during which eight policemen and a civilian have been injured.

Earlier within the day, Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana mentioned 23 folks belonging to 2 completely different communities have been arrested thus far in reference to the violence.
