The assertion has come amid speculations that Ajit Pawar might be a part of BJP. Nonetheless, he refuted the claims on Tuesday. As per a PTI report, speaking to media individuals in Mumbai on Tuesday, Shirsat mentioned he thinks the Nationalist Congress Celebration (NCP) is not going to go along with the BJP immediately. 

“Our coverage is obvious about it. The NCP is a celebration that betrays. We is not going to be with the NCP even in energy. If the BJP takes NCP with them, Maharashtra is not going to prefer it. We determined to maneuver out (of the sooner undivided Shiv Sena led by Uddhav Thackeray) as a result of individuals didn’t like us going with the Congress and NCP,” he mentioned, as quoted by the PTI.
