New Delhi: After a purported video, exhibiting famous hair stylist Jawed Habib spitting on a girl’s head whereas styling her hair, went viral on the social media, the Nationwide Fee for Ladies (NCW) took cognizance of the matter and requested the Uttar Pradesh Police to probe the veracity of the video.
The incident came about at a workshop that was being carried out by Habib in Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh.
Within the video that went viral, it may be seen that the girl involved is sitting on a chair in the course of the stage and stylist Jawed Habib, whereas giving tricks to the viewers on hair styling, casually spits on the girl’s head and says that saliva may be another in absence of water whereas chopping of hair. The viewers can be heard laughing and clapping on the incident.

Being attentive to the video, the Nationwide Fee for Ladies, in a tweet wrote, “@NCWIndia has taken cognizance of the incident. Chairperson @sharmarekha has written to @dgpup to instantly examine the veracity of this viral video and take applicable motion. The motion taken have to be apprised to the Fee on the earliest.”
After the video of the incident went viral, the girl involved, Pooja Gupta, proprietor of a magnificence parlour, additionally took to Twitter to recount her expertise, the place she stated, “Yesterday, I attended a workshop of Jawed Habib. He invited me on the stage to offer me a haircut. He stated if there is no such thing as a water, you should utilize saliva.
