Presidential Polls: Oppn To Hold Meeting Tomorrow, Yashwant Sinha To File Nomination: Report

New Delhi: Forward of the Presidential elections subsequent month, the Opposition leaders are set to carry a gathering in Parliament Annexe on Monday, a report by information company ANI mentioned. Based on the report, the Opposition joint candidate Yashwant Sinha may even file his nomination for the election tomorrow, ANI sources mentioned.

Thanking the Opposition events for unanimously selecting him as their presidential candidate, Sinha in a letter mentioned, “I’m overwhelmed with feeling of gratitude in the direction of you and leaders of all of the Opposition events for selecting me unanimously as your frequent candidate to contest the Presidential Election, to be held on July 18, 2022. I thanks for the belief and confidence they’ve reposed in me. Specifically, because the Custodian of Structure, I shall not enable the sunshine of Democracy and secularism to be dimmed by the chief.”

Notably, final week, the previous BJP chief had reached out to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, looking for their assist for the July 18 elections.
