An inside investigation has been launched after cartons of beer had been present in a police automobile within the distant north-west Queensland neighborhood of Doomadgee on Monday.

Native resident Christopher Toby mentioned he was in bushland searching for native fruits when he noticed a bunch of individuals unloading a number of cartons of alcohol from a automotive.
Mr Toby mentioned on nearer inspection he recognized the group as cops who weren’t in uniform.
He mentioned a police patrol automobile was then used to move beer into Doomadgee.
Present restrictions restrict alcohol to two cartons of 30 cans of mid-strength beer per individual with no choice to buy alcohol contained in the neighborhood.
Police confirmed an inside investigation had been launched.
“This investigation will study any illegal conduct by cops together with inappropriate use of police automobiles.”
