Joe Lowry, who works in emergency preparedness for the US Congress, Tweeted on January 10, 2021, that he discovered a gold hoop earring within the Home Gallery on January 6, 2021. 

He held on to the earring all yr, and on Tuesday morning, two days earlier than the one-year anniversary of the Capitol riot, he posted concerning the jewellery once more.

Inside a minute of posting, Politico Capitol Hill reporter Sarah Ferris responded to Lowry’s tweet, claiming the ring as her personal.

Ferris’ colleague Melanie Zanona, a fellow Capitol Hill reporter from CNN, was excited to see Ferris had been reunited together with her hoop. 

“I used to be with @sarahnferris on January sixth when she misplaced this gold hoop earring, which was a particular piece of knickknack to her,” Zanona wrote on Twitter.

She stated the pair briefly looked for the earring however since they had been exhausted, they gave up.
