Security Forces Kill Pakistani Intruder Along LoC Border In J&K’s Poonch, Foil Infiltration Bid

A Pakistani intruder was shot lifeless alongside the Line of Management (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, stated officers. They added the troops guarding the Balakote sector within the Mendhar sub-division challenged the infiltrator when he was making an attempt to sneak into India’s aspect from throughout the border. As per PTI’s report, the officers acknowledged that nothing incriminating was recovered from the possession of the intruder, who’s being questioned. 

Earlier on April 29, Indian troops detained a father-son duo from PoK who had inadvertently crossed into this aspect within the close by Poonch district. Each people have been later repatriated to Pakistan via the Chakan Da Bagh border crossing level.

The duo, recognized as Sardar Abdul Hamid and his son Abbass of Polas village have been nabbed within the Gulpur sector instantly after they intruded into this aspect from throughout the border, Military officers stated.

The officers stated the questioning of the 2 revealed that that they had misplaced their approach and inadvertently crossed the LoC.

Earlier in April, a Pakistani intruder was killed and two others have been arrested after the Military foiled an infiltration bid alongside LoC in Poonch, PTI reported.

The Indian Military launched a search operation shortly after the incident and one of many intruders was nabbed in a wounded situation, and the third one was apprehended later.

The Military officers recovered three baggage with fourteen packets of narcotics weighing round 17 kg, notes of Pakistan forex, some paperwork, and eatables.
