The 2 key fairness benchmarks, Sensex and Nifty, on Tuesday ended on a flat observe amid heavy volatility as buyers bought rallies at greater stage.
The S&P BSE Sensex ended at 60,673, down 19 factors (0.03 per cent). However, the Nifty50 ended at 17,827, down 18 factors (0.1 per cent).
On the 30-share Sensex platform, Tata Motors, Solar Pharma, UltraCemco, TCS, Wipro, Infosys ended within the purple. On the flip aspect, NTPC, PowerGrid, Reliance, Tata Metal, HDFC twins emerged winners.
Within the broader market, the BSE MidCap index fell 0.21 per cent, and the BSE SmallCap eased 0.31 per cent.
Amongst sectors, the Nifty PSU Financial institution index declined 1.9 per cent, main the record of losers. The Nifty FMCG index was the one gainer with modest positive aspects of 0.19 per cent.
Within the earlier session on Monday, the S&P BSE Sensex index declined 311 factors to finish at 60,692. However, the Nifty50 index gave up 17,850-mark to shut at 17,845, down 100 factors.
